Some of the popular blogs moderate their readers’ comments, so it is useless to try to flood them with your links. Just write something naturally to respond the post. I encourage you not to promote any of your products when you first commenting on other blogs, especially if the post doesn’t have annything to do with your product. If it does, don’t promote your products excessively.

However, you must find the discussions with topics related to your blog’s topics, otherwise you will be regarded as a spammer. Another thing to note is don’t overwhelm the discussions with your links to your blog. This will have a very big chance to be marked as a spamming activity.

Web and Blog Directories
There are millions of web and blog directories where you can list your blog. You can submit your blog manually to each directories, but using a directory submitter tool is a good idea to release you from the hassle and give you more time to be spent on other internet marketing techniques for your blog.

Social Network
I think it is already pretty obvious that you can add your blog when you fill your profiles in the social networking sites.

By bookmarking your articles you will get free backlinks easily. However, note that some of the sites has a no-follow policy, meaning that the backlinks won’t be detected by google. Fortunately, not all search engines uses this no-follow so you can still have the backlinks from yahoo and some other search engines. There are a lot of bookmarking sites you can take advantage of.
